What to do if you have a complaint

We strive to offer a first-class customer service every single time, however if you are not entirely satisfied with our service then please write to the Complaints Manager, CIA Insurance Services, Boughton Leigh House, Brownsover Road, Rugby, Warwickshire, CV21 1AW.

If we cannot resolve your complaint to your complete satisfaction, you may refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).

Your right to compensation

CIA Insurance Services is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS). You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations.

This depends on the type of insurance cover and the circumstances of the claim. Most insurance contracts are covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim. Further information about compensation scheme arrangements can be obtained from the FSCS.

Payment for our services

CIA Insurance will typically be paid a commission by the insurer for arranging your policy. You will be charged a fee when the policy commences, at renewal, when mid-term adjustments are made (including the replacement of lost certificates) and if you cancel the policy before the end of the term of the policy.
